Face of Paper

Face of Paper is a Korean paper texture sample book for comparing the color and texture of 8 standard and 10 premium papers. It classifies papers by printability, texture, and price, allowing users to intuitively check each sample’s characteristics and choose according to budget and purpose.

The book has color and image comparison sections: standard samples appear in both, while premium samples are in the image section only. Color comparison uses 180 swatches to show differences by paper and lamination, and image comparison shows 11 categorized images to preview printing results.

Standard Samples (8 types): A standard sample of papers frequently used in publishing. It contains basic gloss coated paper, matte coated paper, wood-free paper, and silk paper. For the matte coated paper, three additional laminations—matte, gloss, and velvet—are applied, allowing you to see how the lamination affects color and texture.
